I am creative. I am art. I formally studied art in Huntsville, Alabama were I received a B.S. degree in Commercial and Advertising Art. Though I have drawn by hand since I was a child; I love all mediums of art, computer generated, pen and pencil, paint and photography. At a young age of 10 or so, I was fascinated with actors. I drew portraits of Arsenio Hall, Eddie Murphy, Billie Dee Williams and others. That was in the time when the Arsenio Hall Show and Coming to America were popular. And even today, 20 years later I find myself doing the same thing, portraits of Justin Timberlake and T.I, just in a different medium.
Currently, I freelance for anyone that has an interesting project or an opportunity to create something beautiful. I have so many ideas and no time to do them all. I am still fascinated with people. People in motion, in emotion, it is amazing to capture a moment in time which is why I love photography. The realness of a time of day or the moment right before rain starts to fall.
In the future, I want to do more photography, physical art on a large scale and 3D art/gaming. To capture real moments in time that invokes an emotion is what I really want to achieve. I want my art to be a favorite song to someone, like my favorite song that plays 24 hours a day…
